Description We are offering a contract for a Tax Preparer role in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Within this industry, your main responsibility will be to prepare tax returns of varying complexity for individuals and small businesses. Responsibilities: 1040s • Utilize tax preparation software to accurately input data • Conduct basic tax research to ensure compliance with federal and state laws • Strive to maximize the benefits clients are eligible for under government law • Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service • Effectively use accounting software systems for various tasks • Manage accounting functions as required • Assist with allowances and deductions as part of tax preparation • Perform data entry tasks as needed.
