Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to become a part of our team. The job function revolves around preparing and filing individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and handling client communication. This role is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and requires working onsite. It offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize TaxSlayer Pro Online software for the accurate preparation and filing of tax returns • Review income statements and other financial documents to ascertain eligibility for deductions • Abide by both federal and state tax laws to ensure full compliance • Engage in communication with clients to gather additional information or clarify any details as required • Manage sensitive client information securely and maintain strict confidentiality • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline work processes • Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries promptly • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently • Handle accounting functions as necessary • Manage allowances and deductions effectively.
