Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Waxahachie, Texas. This role is integral to our team's operations, focusing on the preparation and filing of corporate and individual tax returns. The workplace is 100% on-site, providing a unique opportunity for those skilled in tax preparation and accounting to contribute to our team's efficiency and success. Responsibilities: • Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of corporate and individual tax returns • Utilizing accounting software systems to maintain accurate customer credit records • Reviewing financial and income statements to verify correct tax reporting • Identifying potential tax deductions, credits, and savings opportunities for clients • Ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels • Responding promptly to client inquiries and providing tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes • Staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations • Assisting in the preparation of partnership tax returns and IRS form 1065 • Helping with backlog tasks as needed • Utilizing UltraTax software (although not mandatory) to enhance efficiency in tax preparation. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Tax Preparer • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Demonstrated ability to perform Accounting Functions • Expertise in Tax Preparation is required • Must have experience working with Creative Solutions - UltraTax • Knowledge of Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is necessary • Familiarity with Ultratax CS is essential • Experience in preparing Corporate Tax Return • Proven track record in preparing Individual Tax Return • Must have knowledge of Partnership Tax • Experience in preparing Partnership Returns • Knowledge of Partnership Tax Returns is required • Must be familiar with IRS Form 1065 Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
