In this role, you will perform amended filing functions as assigned. Meets both quality and production standards established for this level. Respond to Agency, Payroll Center and Client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Monitor established turnaround guidelines.

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

File/original and late original tax returns timely in accordance with Agency, Region and Client requirements. Research client, agency and payroll center inquiries and respond in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor. Assist in training of new employees and procedures. Develops and updates current filing/research records and procedure. Telephone contact with internal and external areas. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

Thorough knowledge of research and filing procedures and resources. Thorough knowledge of the automated tax system. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Meets deadlines with accuracy. Organizational skills are a must. Good written and verbal communication skills. You can work overtime hours during peak seasons.

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
