The Tax Associate, International Income Tax Consulting is responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of income tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures in accordance with ASC 740. This role will work closely with the Tax Manager and the broader tax team to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of tax accounting principles and a keen interest in developing their expertise in tax provision processes.Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including the calculation of current and deferred taxes. Research tax issues and assist with tax audits.Assist in analyzing tax accounts, reconciling differences, and ensuring accurate tax balances.Contribute to the preparation of tax-related disclosures for financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.Help maintain accurate and detailed workpapers to support tax provision calculations and compliance.Assist in the preparation of documentation for tax audits and inquiries.Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax provisions.Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ year experience in tax preparation (1-2 years of experience will do)Knowledge of U.S. Federal income tax is a plus.Strong knowledge of Excel; work experience using tax preparation software and applications preferred.Written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be a team player and be willing to work overtime when necessary.Ability to lead and foster a positive working environment.Ability to multi-task job responsibilities.Advanced organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail.Strong work ethic - results-driven.Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
Work Environment:
