Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Non-Profit industry for a Tax Senior at our location in Upland, California. As a Tax Senior, you will be primarily responsible for handling tax-related tasks for both individual and corporate clients. You will be expected to research tax preparation strategies and maintain the highest level of accuracy in your work. Responsibilities: • Conduct extensive tax research for both individual and corporate clients, such as s/C-corps, sole proprietors, and partnerships • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of tax preparation processes • Monitor and manage client accounts and take necessary actions when required • Process customer credit applications with precision and speed • Maintain meticulous customer credit records • Handle tax-related tasks for general commercial clients in various sectors including manufacturing, construction, medical groups, and business services • Utilize tax software such as Lacerte, CCH, ProSystems, and QuickBooks • Maintain proficiency in advanced Excel applications • Ensure all tax-related processes adhere to the standards of Public Accounting with a tax focus. Requirements • Proven work experience of 7 or more years in the tax field • Expertise in both corporate and individual tax • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred • Advanced knowledge of tax software and office productivity tools • Proficiency in carrying out complex tax research • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to work in a non-profit environment • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • High attention to detail and accuracy • Prior experience with non-profit tax regulations is a plus • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
