Our culture combines the energy and flexibility of a start-up with the opportunity to develop and advance a career based on your strengths and interests. **We are currently seeking a Tax Intern to join our Pacific Northwest team (Lake Oswego) for an 8 to 12-week Summer 2025 Internship program.** We're looking for exceptional students, like you, who possess both technical skills and a commitment to excellence. As a valued member of our team, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to complete tax engagements and projects. Our 2025 Internship Program is designed for seniors and those in accounting related master’s programs. This is a **full-time** internship for students seeking to gain corporate tax experience. **Throughout the KBF internships, you will:** + Leverage the knowledge gained during your college career to contribute meaningfully to our projects. + Enhance your skillset and gain practical experience by working alongside our engagement teams. + Develop a deep understanding of the accounting industry dynamics, helping you refine your career path and make informed decisions about your future in public accounting. **Responsibilities:** + Perform tax-related tasks, including compliance, advising and planning for a variety of clients in different industries, multistate and/or multinational enterprises including partnerships, corporations and S-corporations + Proactively manage projects to ensure delivery of work products based on client expectations and statutory deadlines + Openly communicate with partners, managers, and teams about the status, timeline, issues, and progress of projects, tasks, and associated budgets + Learn to develop and manage client relationships **Qualifications & Requirements:** + Pursuing CPA eligibility + Graduation and CPA eligibility dates must align based on the applicant’s internship season and year: 1. Summer 2025 internship applicants: 2. Earliest graduation with CPA eligibility date: March 2025 3. Latest graduation with CPA eligibility date: June 2026 + Available to participate in a full-time internship program during the below period: 1. Summer 2025 internship: 2. Early June through mid-August + Strong ambition to become a Certified Public Accountant and a desire to pursue a career inTax + Motivated, quick learner with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor + Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team + Eligible to work in the U.S
