What the day will look like + Compile accurate data for UK VAT forms and submissions + Prepare and review monthly Payments on Account and quarterly Aon Retirement Plan payments + Monitor UK tax payments and repayments for compliance + Monthly review of UK Property Schedule for VAT reporting changes + Update annual UK Senior Accounting Officer VAT process map for efficiency + Regularly update UK VAT group members in Workday and Companies House + Collect and review data for Insurance Premium Tax filings, collaborating quarterly/annually + Annually review VAT recovery rates for accuracy + Prepare VAT schedules for auditors annually + Execute quarterly Alteryx processes for data integrity + Monthly reconciliation of the UK VAT account for financial accuracy + Post monthly T&E recoverable VAT journals and quarterly VAT clearance journals + Ad hoc UK journal postings How this opportunity is different This role promotes collaboration across teams in different locations, primarily working closely with the London-based indirect tax team, who will provide knowledge, open communication (with regular contact) and a supportive environment so it won’t take long to feel fully part of the team. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field + Proficient in English with a C1 level or higher + Experience in VAT compliance and reporting – nice to have + Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax submissions + Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and review data accurately. + Experience with financial reconciliation processes + Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data compilation and reporting + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively updating and informing stakeholders + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently + Experience working collaboratively within a team and across departments How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
