Tax & Statutory Manager has responsibility to analyze and interpret tax laws to identify and solve tax problem. Assist in development and implementation of tax strategy. Also responsible for statutory financial statement. + Monitor and control and input and output VAT, Withholding taxes, Stamp duties etc. + Prepare and file Corporate Income Tax return (PND50, 51), BOI and IBC report. + Review Corporate Income Tax and Commercial Tax for countries under Greater Thailand. + Identify and monitor taxes related to core business operations (e.g. intercompany transactions, foreign payment transactions). + Review share service monthly/quarterly/yearly tax reconciliation. + Support cash flow forecast for tax payment plan. + Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including review journal entries and account reconciliations related to tax account. + Responsible for submit statutory audited financial statements under Greater Thailand. + Liaise with external auditors and tax team for compliance purpose. + Proactively coordinate with Thai Revenue Department on tax audit matters (CIT, VAT, PIT). + Assist management team on any tax related matters. + Proactive approach to work, can work with minimum supervision but will escalate important issues to the appropriate level of management as required. + Ad-hoc reports as assigned. + Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience. + Minimum of five years experience in Thai tax, and international tax experience (Bangladesh, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia). + Experienced in discussion with Revenue Department officer. + Trained/experienced in US GAAP and Thai GAAP accounting. + Fluent communication skills in English. + JD Edwards and Hyperion knowledge are desirable. + Proficient verbal and written communication skills. + Advanced computer skills is preferred. + Good teamwork and ability to work under tight deadline and pressure. + Ability to use initiative, judgement,work with minimum supervision and report to a remotely Line Manager. + Analytical awareness and problem solving skills.
