This position is based out of our Littleton, CO office and the pay range for this role is $60,000 - $72,000. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

The primary function of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely completion of indirect tax filings and payments for our restaurant customers through effective management of the offshore filing team. This position exists to bridge the operational gap between daily tax compliance tasks and the strategic objectives of maintaining regulatory adherence and customer satisfaction. Without this role, the company would face increased risks of non-compliance, inefficiencies in tax operations, and potential customer dissatisfaction due to delayed or incorrect filings.

This position contributes to the department's strategic priorities by ensuring operational excellence in tax compliance, reducing risks associated with errors or delays, and supporting the company's overall goal of delivering high-quality, reliable service to its customers.

Your impact:

Oversee Offshore Filing Team Operations: Provide leadership and direction to the offshore team responsible for completing indirect tax filings and payments for our restaurant customers. Ensure that daily tasks are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and within set deadlines, maintaining compliance with all relevant tax regulations. Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring: Implement quality control measures to monitor the accuracy and timeliness of filings. Regularly review team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive steps to address any performance gaps. Provide ongoing feedback and training to team members to uphold high standards of service delivery. Process Optimization and Workflow Management: Continuously evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization. Lead efforts to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and implement best practices to improve the overall effectiveness of the team. Technical Leadership for New Hires: Act as the technical lead for onboarding new team members, guiding them through the implementation phase. Provide comprehensive training on filing procedures, software tools, and compliance requirements. Ensure that new hires are fully integrated into the team and equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their duties effectively. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as compliance, product, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration of the offshore team's work with overall company operations. Facilitate communication between offshore teams and onshore stakeholders to address any issues or concerns promptly. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of filing activities, team performance, and any issues encountered. Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas requiring attention. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audit purposes.

About you:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred 2+ years with either business tax or accounting experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and technological proficiency. Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach. Highly analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability for team performance. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision. Dependable with a track record of consistent and reliable attendance.
