Purpose of the Role

 

As a Tax Supervisor, you will report and assist the Tax Manager on all tax related matters of the Company. You will ensure that the organization complies with all tax rule and regulations, quality and timely tax closing reporting but not limited to tax planning, maximize the tax benefit, as well as transfer pricing documentation.

 

 

Responsibilities of the Role

 

Ensures that all tax returns are filed accurately and timely in accordance with the government tax regulations of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs). Provides advice and information to involved departments within the organization on tax requirements, procedures and compliance. Take responsibility in the tax reporting requirements and collaboration with the Allianz Regional Office (based in Singapore) and Group Office (based in Munich).  Proactively participate the company's projects to assess and advise any tax implications.

 

 

Requirements for the Role

 

BS Accountancy graduate or equivalent, preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA) At least 5-7 years professional experience in tax reporting and handling of tax audit, preferably from Financial Sector such as banks, insurance, fintech. Extensive exposure to Philippine Tax rules and regulations and understanding its impact to the company's business. Preferably with two (2) years of working experience in the tax compliance group from audit firms or multinational companies. Excellent written and oral communication skills People oriented and team player. Works effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. Able to identify, communicate and manage tax issues.
