OUTLINE OF THE JOB

DuPont in Japan has a Senior Tax Analyst position available at its headquarters located in Sanno Park Tower, Tokyo.   This position is a growth opportunity within the Tax and the other Finance Competency of Multi National Enterprise operations. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and file tax returns for DuPont entities in Japan. 

Attend tax audits and respond/resolve issues with tax authorities in Japan.

Pursue tax saving opportunities and conduct moderate to complex research & analysis for improvements. 

Partner up with sites or businesses to identify and resolve local and international tax problems.

Perform tax accounting and its reconciliation based on US/JP GAAP and Regional/Global Tax guideline.

Team up with other countries’ tax organization for local/international tax compliance and problem solving. 

May lead tax project. 

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree preferably in accounting, law, business management or economics.

10 + years of experience with Tax, Corporate accounting and Reporting in public accounting or a corporate finance/tax environment.  Tax filing experience is plus.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and ambiguity in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Ability to perform complex tax/accounting analysis and effectively communicate results in the form of discussion, memorandum or presentation to reach reasonable and efficient tax accounting and filing.

Consistent proactive and problem solving mindset.

Excellent communication and writing skills in Japanese and advanced English communication skills (TOEIC 800+).   

Works well in teams while being self-directed and accountable.

Successful examinee of US/JP CPA, Certified tax accountant and Book keeping 1st grade is plus.

Strong IT skills - experience with SAP, OneSource Tax software, Mahojin a plus.
