Job Description Summary:
Collaborate with the Corporate Tax Leadership team to devise and execute future technology solutions that will adequately support the global tax function.Ensure the Company’s tax technology strategy is comprehensive, fully integrated, and aligned with the broader Corporate Tax strategy, Corporate IT and Finance strategy and the Company’s global business strategy.What You’ll Do for Us:Pillar 2 implementation: Accurately assess the Company’s data and software requirements to meet existing and significant new compliance obligations (e.g., the OECD’s Pillar 2 global minimum tax). The Corporate Tax team will need to gather, verify, analyze, and report detailed global tax and financial data on a country-by-country basis, which must be strategically managed.Tax technology optimization: Select effective software and automation solutions to manage the additional workload. Design, develop, execute and maintain tax technology solutions to optimize tax operations and improve efficiency, governance, internal controls and accuracy in tax reporting. Communicate with financial statement auditor (EY) as a focus area for the upcoming audit.Business support: Advise on technology solutions for Buy/Sell structure implementations. Changing tax laws and business needs require CPS to set up local legal entities to buy and sell beverage concentrates in certain countries. Implementation is crucial for ongoing tax compliance.Public Country-by-Country reporting: Necessitates the company collecting and publicly disclosing new and detailed global tax financial data, which must be strategically managed. This role will be vital in designing this process and implementing appropriate software solutions to maximize automation and interaction with foreign government websites.Analytics and reporting: Strategically consider new technology that can be adapted or adopted to analyze and synthesize reported data and modeling the future ETR impact of legislative, supply chain and other business changes.Artificial Intelligence: Thoroughly evaluate and implement AI solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Corporate Tax Department.Guidance and training: Lead upskilling of other members of the tax team, as well as different departments within the organization, on tax technology matters and new tools as they are selected and implemented.IT controls: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations concerning tax technology, including data privacy and cybersecurity.Represent Corporate Tax: Serve as a strategic liaison between Platform Services, Corporate IT and Corporate Tax on tax technology matters. Act as the lead tax representative in strategic Finance initiatives involving technology.Qualifications & Requirements:This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience with the following:
Enterprise Systems: SAP S/4 HANA ERP, Oracle FCCS for financial consolidation and other core company systems.Data management: Enabling data quality, data collection and enterprise data platforms for the use and re-use of tax data across stakeholder groups. Experience with Microsoft Azure and Power Platform preferred.Tax systems: Experience ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax and other tax technology software available in the market.Automation, Analytics and AI: Experience across a variety of tools with focus on Microsoft applications including Power BI, Power Automate, Copilots and other Power Platform capabilities preferred.Tax technical: Knowledge of direct tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax technical concepts across the tax lifecycle including planning, accounting, compliance and tax authority audit support.Strategy: Track record of successfully developing and evolving tax technology strategy and roadmaps over time. Communicating value of investments and benefits realized over time.Project and change management: Managing tax technology programs/projects and helping to enable change through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, training and support.Tax technology maintenance: Support users and enable timely maintenance of all tax technology solutions implemented.Educational BackgroundCandidates should possess at least a bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certification in related fields would be highly advantageous.Professional ExperienceIdeal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax technology roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing tax technology strategies within large organizations.Technical SkillsCandidates must have an intimate understanding of SAP S/4 HANA, ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax and other core company and tax systems. A strong working knowledge of direct tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax technical concepts is essential. Proficiency in data management, analytics, and familiarity with the latest enterprise and tax technology tools available in the marketplace is required. $189,500 - $220,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
