The position possesses functional knowledge pertinent to network (LAN/WAN/Network) communications technologies and is a contributor to the development, testing, implementing, and maintaining of new equipment. Equipment may include but is not limited to routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers, and VoIP technologies. This position recommends and obtains approval for network and security design changes that affect all supported sites. Preferred Qualification Comptia Network+ to include strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite, network infrastructure components (routers, switches), network operations ( manage switching, VLANs, ACLs, Management access etc.), and troubleshooting methodologies using the OSI Model. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to users and colleagues, both verbally and in writing. Customer service orientation: Strong focus on providing courteous and efficient support to internal and external users. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot network issues efficiently and logically. Familiarity with network management tools and protocols like SNMP, CLI, and network monitoring platforms.
