You'll have... 
M.S. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or academic equivalent, in a closely related technical discipline.
Expert knowledge in mechanics, dynamics and durability behavior of Chassis systems used at Ford.
Expert knowledge in linear, nonlinear, static, dynamic and fatigue CAE techniques as well as related software ( Adams, Nastran, Design Life, Hyperworks, ANSA, MetaPost, … )
Expert knowledge of full vehicle modeling in Adams
At least 10 years’ experience at Chassis CAE and a minimum of 6 years in Multibody dynamics.
Good knowledge of ISO 9000, Engineering Procedures, GPDS, Design Standards, ...

Even better, you may have...
Good knowledge of engineering quality analysis and improvement methods.
Ability to establish, track and maintain workplans.
Ability to plan and lead meetings effectively on a global basis.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent scripting knowledge ( Excel VBA, Python, Matlab, … )
Good knowledge in application of AI/ML for engineering applications.

Lead Underbody NVH and MBD strategy to solve technical challenges of chassis systems.

Lead Underbody NVH and MBD strategy to solve technical challenges of chassis systems. Lead Method development and improvement of NVH/MBD CAE methods to achieve high CAE confidence level.  Lead creation and application of digital twin models (Structural/Controls) for chassis CAE applications. Lead automation of digital twin creation and application in chassis through use of Adams Python/Adams Command Language and other scripting approaches Support expedited closure of proving ground durability issues. Minimize load input to body via MBD simulations while staying sufficiently robust for tuning changes. Lead documentation of test methods, best practices and lessons learned for best-in-class modeling. Ensure delivery of best-in-class NVH performance for Underbody systems. Ensure application of optimization tools in conjunction with NVH analysis to ensure the delivery of optimal solutions. Lead alignment of test methods and modeling with vehicle dynamics CAE. Lead correlation of loads and other test data (strain, displacements, accelerations etc.) between testing and simulation. Lead response studies of systems in amplitude and frequency range. Lead load cascading to generate durability and fatigue loads from Vehicle dynamics simulations.  Responsible to automate processes by scripting existing and new tools resulting in efficient CAE methods. Continuous research in MBD simulation technologies. Drive close collaboration with Vehicle RLD, NVH & Dynamics CAE teams. Partner with our prognostic / GDIA teams on virtual vehicle simulations.
