Position Summary
Evaluates plans and treats children enrolled in Early Intervention in all developmental areas with a concentration on cognition, learning readiness, behavior management.Primary Position Responsibilities
Provides developmentally appropriate interventions. Completes thorough and accurate daily session notes and progress summaries. Demonstrates flexibility by meeting patient demand. Counsels and educates patient/family/caregivers. Communicates with other essential medical personnel and other providers including other Early Intervention providers. Completes all required Department of Health Early Intervention documentation.Work Contact Group (Internal/External)
Staff, families, children and caregivers. Preschools and day center staff, local school district – child study teams.Reporting Relationships

Minimum Education: Required: Master’s Degree in Education Preferred: Certificates in Early Childhood Education, Elementary EducationMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 1-3 years experience with pre-school aged children: will consider new graduate Preferred: None
License, Registry or Certification: Required: NJ DOE Certification in Special Education Preferred: None
