Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Kinder Coordinator the Teacher Aide is responsible for
the safety and well-being of the Kindergarten students.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Follows directions given by class teacher: Assists in planning and preparing the classroom Helps set-up learning centers Helps prepare needed materials and supplies Assists during class movements (Library, Computer Lab, playground, etc.) Assists students who need help in an activity Maintains confidentiality about children, their families, and other employees outside the school Assists students going to the Health Services, Library, Computer Lab, etc Makes sure the children are always safe and well Attends to the students’ requirements for assistance related to nutrition, hygiene and personal necessities Keeps track of inventory of school materials in assigned classroom Attends staff meetings and recommended training programs Provides clerical and administrative support to faculty
