Overview
The Teacher's assistant will assist in clinical courses helping students learn manual skills and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
+ Assisting student with development of psychomotor skills.
+ Preparing the laboratory environment with appropriate equipment and maintaining a safe environment.
+ Student assessment/lab practical grading.
+ Sharing clinical insights.
+ Contextualizing didactic information for clinical application.
Qualifications
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
+ Proven effective interpersonal and conflict-management skills
+ Ability to take initiative in tasks that occur regularly at certain times of the year (ex: in preparation for an upcoming semester)
+ Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment
+ Experience with clinical skills and procedures being taught
Physical Demands
+ This position requires compliance with Touro's Vaccine Mandate policy
Maximum Salary
USD $70.00/Hr.
Minimum Salary
USD $50.00/Hr.
