The Local Academy Board of Wolverham Primary and Nursery school (part of Concordia MAT) wish to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated and caring teaching assistant to work within our foundation stage team in our 2 or 3-Year-old provision. This is a temporary position (32.5 hours, term time) and will be till the end of the summer term. There is a possibility of it being extended but this will depend on numbers for autumn 2025. 

We are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant who shares our vision of excellence and is able to sustain the excellent progress that our foundation stage provides.  We need  someone who will nurture and provide an exciting and stimulating learning environment for our children alongside the current, strong team.

The successful candidate will have a qualification that is recognised on the EYFS approved qualifications list: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england

Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for the post will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes. The holder of this post will be required to work with children under the age of 18 in a position of trust, and is, therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
