Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics._ **Responsibilities** Assist with the planning and implementation of daily activities for assigned class. + Create opportunities for enhancing student skills. + Plan and implement activities that are consistent with student abilities, interests and educational plans. + Assist with school inclusion, inclusion in alternate school settings, the development of appropriate curriculum, workshop/life skills, speech and language, art, music, and adaptive physical education. + Provide staff in-services. + Maintain data and other records according to protocol. + Display enthusiasm and appropriate energy level to maintain students motivation, cooperation, and participation. + Encourage student independence in communication, decision making and other activities. **Requirements** Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. Based on WisconsinAdministrative Code Regulations, one or more of the following is required: 1) At least 18 years oldand have satisfactorily completed one course for credit in early childhood education or itsequivalent at an institution of higher education within 6 months after assuming the position, or; 2)At least 18 years old and have satisfactorily completed one, non-credit department-approved course in early childhood education within 6 months after assuming the position, or; 3) Havesatisfactorily completed an assistant child care teacher training program approved by the Wisconsindepartment of public instruction.
