What We’re Looking For

Our Commercial Insurance Division is seeking a detail-oriented Team Administrator! Join us with your administrative experience and make a positive impact on the team with your fresh ideas and unique perspective in this Full Time, Permanent role.

Our Burnaby location is our head office and is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore sky train station with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

Requirements

Level 1 General Insurance License is preferred or willing to obtain within 3 monthsDemonstrates excellent customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalIntermediate MS Office knowledge, with focus on Excel and WordYou enjoy working in a fast paced, client-focused environment

A Day in the Life

Provides exceptional customer experience working with various Production teamsFollows Hub Service GuidelinesProcesses all documentation according to Hub workflowsFormally corresponds with customers and insurersManages account reconciliation working with Accounting teamMaintains accuracy of electronic filesReviews and ensures accuracy of policy documentation from insurersAbeyances and follow-up for outstanding information & documentationReviews and prioritizes all assigned tasks on a daily basis including mail, emails, abeyances/activitiesProvides back-up support for other departments and Reception on an as-needed basisContinues professional development in order to enhance skills and abilitiesOther projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
