The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. 

In this role you will provide full administrative support to Directors and Managers of the Abbott Diabetes Care EMEAP Headquarter. The team assistant will show a conscientious, pro-active and dedicated approach to all aspects of the job role ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard and within agreed time frames.

Your Tasks:

Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team and the IT Team as well as cross functional teams of the Abbott Diabetes Care EMEAP HeadquarterProvide support with calendar management for Directors by setting up regularly occurring 1:1 meetings, team meetings, conf. callsArrange travel requirements for Directors and Managers in line with Abbott policies, prepare visa documents, arrange hotel bookings & transfersPrepare travel expense reports for Directors in a timely manner and according to the Abbott travel policyPlan & organize internal, external & virtual meetings across Europe using internal systems in line with ABBOTT policiesProvide Accounting & Finance related project support; including supplier selection & set up; creation of shopping carts and follow up on invoices & credit notes (in SAP/SRM)Coordinate and organize On- and Off-BoardingProvide support and back-up for other members of the HQ Assistant’s Team during leave or workload peaks to ensure an overall adequate level of assistance to the HQ Management team

Your Qualification:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Administrative AssistantExcellent organizational & planning skills, practical in work approach and ability to prioritizeAbility to take the initiative and to work within a team environment requiring collaboration and communicationAble to work unsupervised with a highly professional approach possessing excellent interpersonal skills relative to the diversity of levels in the business and the cultural diversity at which interaction is requiredAffinity & accuracy with numbers and Finance and Accounting related processes and policies is requiredExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other work processing programs as well as the SAP (SRM) programFluent English and German oral and written communication skills. Fluency in an additional European language is beneficial
