Position Overview

The Team Coach is responsible for supporting new employees during the New Hire - Account Manager (AM) Training Program to help with ramp-up time and knowledge to be successful in the role. This position will be primarily responsible for helping AMs learn through experiencing and doing real client work throughout the training. The Team Coach will identify knowledge and performance gaps within the team and provide support to bridge these gaps. Additionally, the Team Coach will be evaluating and providing feedback to new hires during the training program. This position will report to the Client Services management team and will work alongside the L&D Facilitator during New Hire Training. The role will be 100% on-site.


Primary Responsibilities

Coach and train newly hired employees to ensure retention of new hire training as well as building confidence in the role.Team Coach will spend majority of time in the classroom. The remaining time will include documenting or journaling new hire feedback/performance, self-training and development, observation, and reporting and collaborating with Service and L&D leadership through meetings and ongoing 1:1 meeting.Responsible for Experience the Work/Do the Work sessions with new hires each session to provide live on-the-job training (Live and recorded calls, and case/emails).Evaluates new team members and communicates their progress to their respective leaders through journals, ongoing 1:1 and group sessions, and leader check-ins.Proactively identifies required course enhancements and changes to meet the evolving needs of the business by partnering with the L&D department and Business area leadership.Serves as process champions and subject matter experts to identify knowledge gaps and bridge these gaps through course amendments and interactive exercises.As volume dictates, may be responsible for client work.Help identify and provide additional coaching to ensure AM successOther duties as assigned

Required Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in SalesforceAt least 1 year of experience in the Human Capital Management industry - HR & Payroll and Ancillary Products, and Service BureauAbility to organize and manage multiple projectsEffective communication is the cornerstone of this position. The Team Coach must be able to teach new concepts to new and current employees in a manner that the employee will understand and retainAttention to detail, analytical, and critical thinking skillsProficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, ExcelFor internal applicants, at least 1 year experience as an Account Manager in Service

Preferred:

Prior experience in coaching or training environment

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $53,800 - $100,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
