ResponsibilitiesResponsible for achieving plant Safety, Food safety, Quality and Productivity goals.
Coordinate all production, maintenance and engineering activities that affect the production lines.
Ensure adequate personnel are present to cover the shift requirements.
Perform payroll functions for personnel including scans/time and attendance.
Ensures plant policies, procedures and rules are followed.
This includes all safety, environmental, cGMP, SQF and quality items.
Ensures that employees on their team/shift, have completed their required training.
Facilitate training opportunities and sign off sheets.
Ensure the production floor is kept clean and safe throughout the shift.
Perform verification of production cleaning checklist activities.
Ensures all orders are complete and accurate, including
*obtain and verify traveler, print plates, labels and promo if applicable
*Line clearances are complete and documented
*Traveler paperwork complete, accurate and signed off
*Production data entered into WebEff database
*Perform or assist with corrective action investigations and root cause analysis
*Provide assistance for isolations of nonconforming product.
*May be assigned to special projects to support plant goals.
*ISO Representative for production shifts
*Perform other duties as assigned.
*Responsible for non-technical shift to shift pass down.
*Perform all duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation:
Must have completed High School or GED.
Experience:
Supervisor experience is highly desired, 5 years of experience. Manufacturing experience preferred.
Computer Software Knowledge/Skills:
Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Downtime Database, CIM System and Infinity needed (extra training will be provided).
Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate exceptionally well, verbally and written.
Other Qualifications:
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and possess exceptional organizational skills.
**Candidate must have demonstrated self motivation, organizational and Leadership qualities.
