Team Lead – Accounts Payable – P2P Center of Excellence (Pune, India)

In this role you will... 

Identify and implement best practices for payment and invoice processing.Oversee Payments and Invoice Processing team, SME query handling team. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities as needed.Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, invoices, and payments.Ensure all transaction processing is completed within SLA with accuracy.Review team performance against applicable metrics and KPI's.Manage the AP month close and prepare monthly AP account reconciliations.Proficiency in handling the internal stakeholder and vendor queries related to Invoice, payment or Purchase order discrepancy and respond via email and calls.Attending Review Calls with internal stakeholders and handling vendor escalations.Excellent understanding of PTP process, PO & NON PO invoices. Exception handling.Should have knowledge of India and International taxes (TDS, WHT)Sound knowledge on Accounts Payable, transition and implementation experience as an added advantage.Communicates with the team: conducts Daily/Weekly/Monthly Team MeetingsCoordinating with purchasing department & other Departments for Vendor creation & Master data maintenanceShould have experience in managing the AP helpdesk via tickets.Experience in Oracle Fusion will be added advantage

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

A bachelor’s degree related to accounting/finance or related experience10 + years of experience in Accounts Payable and 4 years team handling experienceGood knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping concepts and internal controlsProficient in MS office particularly Excel, Outlook & WordProficient in EnglishStrong knowledge of MS office especially Excel, PowerPoint & OutlookMust be comfortable working in a global company across multiple time zones
