What is the key purpose of a Growth Sales Team Lead?
As a Team Lead working on our Growth Sales team in Taboola’s New York office, you will serve as a player/coach, managing a team of 3-4 Sales Associates tasked with generating revenue from brands, agencies, and affiliates. You will maintain a healthy pipeline of new business consisting of Growth Advertisers accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to serve as a pivotal member of the Growth Sales organization, drive revenue for small & medium business clients, and define best practices for this growing side of the Taboola business.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role it is essential that you have:
5+ years experience selling digital media with a focus on advertisers and agencies Minimum 2 years managing a team of sellers Demonstrated experience consistently meeting or exceeding target goals, hunting for deals, navigating organizational hierarchies and engaging with upper management to close business Experience in a lead generating, preferably at a digital media company Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports to drive ROI for advertisers Experience using Salesforce.com to track activity metrics and build reportsWhat will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
As a Growth Sales Team Lead you will:
Manage a team, conduct performance reviews for direct reports, and establish expectations and goals for team on performance marketing thought leadership Plan, direct and coordinate sales activities, including management of sales pipeline Participate in all phases of the sales lifecycle, including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring, and; contract negotiation and closing Oversee and be accountable for win/loss reviews on new accounts Oversee portfolio of strategic accounts and monitor changes in key metrics, analyze performance trends and deliver on-going reviews of these items to clients Develop and implement quarterly sales plans and activities for your accounts and team Independently build a large pipeline of leads to drive RFPs and IOs Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked Work closely with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations, ensure successful campaign delivery, and help set the expectation for future potential growthWhy Taboola?

The pay range for this position in New York is $115,000 - $125,000. This role is also eligible to participate in Taboola’s commission plan under which you might be eligible for total on-target earnings of $192,000 - $208,000 in accordance with such plan. The pay and commission offered may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We may offer several perks as part of the compensation package that include a discretionary bonus, equity, flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) match, paid parental leave, etc.
