The role:
AP Team Lead is part of AP team within our EMEA Finance Shared Service Center. A person in this role will be taking responsibility of supervising a team of 4 AP specialist and 1 Sr Specialists, leading weekly team meetings to streamline operations and ensure issues faced by the team are escalated without delay. He/she will be responsible of setting measurable goals and encouraging professional development, supporting EMEA Accounting operations by timely processing of invoices across 18 legal entities, resolving queries from the business and suppliers, running monthly KPI and assisting in any necessary month end tasks.
What you will do:
Managing daily operation and coordination within a sub group of Accounts Payable Managing team performance by handling one to one. Ensuring daily inflow is coordinated and managed to meet SLA's and KPI's within the sub group. Being main point of contact of escalations and ensure timely closure Preparing and participating in operational as well as management reporting in collaboration with AP Manager Leading and driving operational excellence in line with Kao corporate culture and vision.What you will need:
Completed Accounting degree at MBO (Dutch system) or higher2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in SSC international environment) Strong people and performance management skills, tracked record in coaching and leading a team Strong Accounts Payable, P2P operations knowledge at multinational companies Customer- and service-oriented thinking Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build effective working relationships Solid coordination and organizational skills Proactive approach to problem solving, ability to apply knowledge of process and policy when providing answers or solutions Experience in supporting innovation, continuous improvement in terms of technologies, processes, procedures, and tools
