Job Profile Summary:

Fixed Asset Team Lead supervises the day-to-day operations of the department and manages the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed timely and accurately. This position addresses tight deadlines and various accounting activities in relation to fixed assets and workflow.

The ideal candidate must be detailed, organized, action orientated, creative and possess the aptitude and appetite for problem solving.

Essential supervisory functions:Performs supervisory duties such as performance evaluation, talent development, succession planning, disciplinary actions, etc.Cultivate growth through the development of high potential employees.Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes.Handle conflict and counsel employees that require disciplinary actions.Essential functions:Ensure timely and accurate Fixed Assets processing, accounting, and reporting, operating within the Company’s guidelines.Ensure the company’s fixed assets are properly maintained for corporate and tax books. This includes capitalization, disposals, and transfers.Monitors completion of period-end closings, including FA to GL reconciliation and account analysis.Identify and manage the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies, while maintaining strong internal controls.
