We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Team Lead to oversee the development of critical software products for Norwegian, Scandinavian, and European emergency services.
In this role, you will lead a team of talented developers working with on Locus new solution for AMK control rooms. You will leverage technologies such as C#, .NET, MS SQL, Blazor, and Azure to deliver high-quality, well-tested code. As part of an Agile product team, you will collaborate closely with project managers, architects and other stakeholders, driving efficient solutions while ensuring effective communication with both technical and non-technical team members. A strong background in IT, with a focus on development within critical systems is highly valued. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the Sandefjord and/or Oslo office, reporting to the Manager of Professional Services.
Responsibilities:
Develop critical software products for Norwegian, Scandinavian, and other European emergency services. Lead a team of highly skilled developers. Work with full stack of products, desktop, backend and web applications. Utilize the latest versions of Visual Studio, C#, .NET, MS SQL, Blazor, Azure, and ESRI ArcGIS platform. Implement DevOps practices using modern tools, methods, and frameworks. Collaborate as part of a product team in an Agile environment, reporting to the project manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science. Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, WPF, MS SQL, and RabbitMQ. Ability to deliver efficient, easy-to-read, and well-tested code with a focus on high quality. Good proficiency in Norwegian and English is mandatory. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Structured approach to task management with a solution-driven mindset. Interest or experience in emergency preparedness, particularly in police, fire, or health sectors (health informatics). Legally eligible to work in the country without employer sponsorship. Must be able to obtain security clearance at the "confidential" level.
