Shared Business Services supports the customers, suppliers, and employees of Air Products by combining enterprise, systems, and process expertise to deliver transaction services into a variety of key activities in the company requisition to pay, customer to cash, payroll and trade compliance areas

NATURE AND SCOPE

This position reports to Global PO Processing and VMD Manager. The primary responsibility is to manage, lead, mentor, motivate, coach team members and overseeing team’s day to day operational activities, including handling transactional purchases and discrepancies resolution activities associated to Requisition To Pay (RTP) activities

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Team Management

Manage, lead, mentor, motivate, coach and develop team membersOverseeing day to day operational activities to achieve company objectives and ensure sustainable performanceLead, participate and overseeing various automation and process improvement projectsExecute internal control and ensure compliance of all internal and SOX controls within the framework of corporate policies and proceduresStakeholders management including procurement, buyers, requisitioner, finance, supply chain, SBS various functions etcCommunication with suppliers as per operational needsFoster a collaborative, high-performance team environment

Requisition To Pay (RTP) activities

Order processing

Creation of Purchase orders (PO’s) against existing agreementsCreation of low value PO’s from sourced requisitionsTracking and chasing order confirmationsRaising PO amendments as/if requiredOversee the end-to end purchase order process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, KPI and SLA.Support automation and system enhancement initiative.Handling transactional purchases and discrepancies resolution activities associated to Requisition To Pay (RtP) activitiesExecute low value purchase orders where requisition is sourced

Discrepancy resolution

Invoice discrepancy chasing, resolution and reporting utilizing ZMRBR reportsGR/IR – Utilizing ZMR11 ensuring queries are received, disseminated for resolution, processed and in accordance with the agreed monthly Finance cyclesResolution of vendor data issues associated with invoice and discrepancy resolution

Others

Outline agreement maintenance in support of the Buyers

Liaising with Vendor master technicians to update and correct vendor master data (fax details, pay to details, etc.) as required

Any ad hoc tasks or activities as assigned by the managerAttend to internal audit, external audit or internal control requests on timely manners

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business/administration/finance or any other relevant majors3 - 5 years’ relevant experience in Procurement/Supply Chain function2 - 3 years’ experience in team managementStrong understanding in procurement governance and processes is an advantagePreferred with SAP knowledge and skillExperience in using Ariba (SAP Business Network) or relevant ERP system is an advantageFluent in English (essential) and the languages associated with the country clusters supportedExperience in migration/transition projects is a plusCapability in planning and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlinesWorking effectively under pressure and collaborating within a team
