Team Lead - 2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11:00pm

In this role, you will be responsible for:
+ Supporting the Supervisor in carrying out the day-to-day implementation of manufacturing activities in our plastics production area ensuring products are produced safely meeting our quality standards and delivered on time.
+ Taking initiative and making decisions within the limits of delegated approval authority, and keep management informed of developments as they occur.
+ Identifying, reporting and taking action to address issues during the scheduled workday.
The required qualifications for the job include:
+ High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 7+ years’ experience.
+ Possess a high sense of urgency, ability to work in fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to explain information, while using tools such as personal computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft systems such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience in continuous improvement with participation on a kaizen project team is desirable.
+ Demonstrated success carrying out leading day-to-day activities and organizational agility.
