Job Description

About the role:

In this exciting position you will be providing direction and leadership of the VBU Analytical Quality Team and cross-functional Analytical Product Team lead and represent Quality on global commercial technical product team.

How you will contribute:

Providing Quality oversight to global commercial Vaccines laboratories and ensuring compliance to internal and external cGxP standards

Take ownership of analytical issues and drive closure quickly, correctly, and permanently for commercial products

Accountable for strategic analytical development and improvement plan and provides direct global analytical technical oversight for global commercial Vaccines products

Own QC analytical method strategy for global commercial vaccinesand provide quality leadership

Evaluate analytical method validation status and robustness of methods during development and commercial transition status

Serve as in-house analytical / technical expert for troubleshooting and investigating laboratory issues

Drive strategic innovation incl. data science and automation aspects in vaccines testing

Drive continuous improvement in analytical methods business processes

Leads and develops a team of global experts and SMEs

Take ownership of analytical issues and drive closure quickly, correctly, and permanently for products.

Build and maintain a network of robust relationships with Analytical Experts, Regulators, Suppliers, Contract Research Organizations, Contract Manufacturing Organizations, and Key Opinion Leaders in the pharmaceutical industry

What you bring to Takeda:

An advanced degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent

Several years of relevant work experience and in directly managing technical projects

Full understanding of relevant cGMPs, ICH and other global regulatory CMC guidance documents applicable to the manufacturing and testing of commercial products

Highly skilled analytical professional with proven ability to influence, negotiate, drive change, and ultimately deliver results

Excellent English and German language skills

Well-structured and organized way of working

Leadership skills, exceptional communication, stakeholder management

Experienced in Lean/Six Sigma Tools, GMP, Project Management

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 5.538,85 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
