Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead , Web Developer
Overview: Our growing web team is looking for a talented web developer to help us create top-notch, industry-leading websites for our marketing department. As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work on developing a suite of websites primarily leveraging Webflow, as well as Drupal. Your main duties will involve building websites on Webflow which is fully responsive across all devices. Additionally, you will be editing content on Webflow (as well as Drupal), setting up style guides, design systems and best SEO practices and setting up third-party integrations. You’ll thrive in a team-oriented, casual environment that encourages you to reach your full potential. You should be comfortable discussing and contributing ideas at any stage of the process. In This Role, You Will: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business goals, user needs, and technical requirements for the acquisition website. Plan for seamless integration with existing systems, ensuring data consistency and security. Ensure seamless integration of APIs, Martech, Analytics (web tracking), and backend components. Harmonize the codebases of the merging websites, adopting best practices and standardizing coding conventions. Create user-friendly, responsive web pages using Webflow CMS (and Drupal), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Convert design mockups and wireframes into clean, maintainable code within Webflow (and Drupal). Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability. Implement and maintain frontend frameworks and libraries within Webflow (and Drupal). Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing. Identify and debug issues. Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies. Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with the UX/UI team to enhance user experience on the website. Implement accessibility best practices on the website. Brainstorm and communicate ideas clearly to the team. Work in an agile environment, iterating quickly. Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with team-wide communication (e.g., daily standups, Slack discussions, code reviews) and occasional pair programming sessions. Here's What You Need: A computer graduate degree, preferably a B.Tech. 4-5 years of experience working in a similar domain. Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and Bootstrap. Expertise in APIs, JavaScript, and jQuery. Proficiency in Gulp, Grunt/Webpack pre-processors and their integration setup. Familiarity with Content Management Systems, preferably Webflow is a must. Knowledge of Drupal and or WordPress CMS is a plus. Strong experience with responsive design, including responsive grids and next-gen image formats. Solid understanding of debugging and issue resolution. Solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, user interfaces, navigation, etc. Experience with Version Control and GIT. Good knowledge of modern web standards and web performance. Good knowledge of frontend frameworks like React. Other desirable skills: Proven experience working with Frontend developers and the UX team Familiarity with JIRA for project tracking and management
