Team Lead Aviation DACH (w/m/d)
Tasks: + Risk assessment (premium calculation) including preparation, partially creation, check documentation (policies, supplements, invoices) + Prepare and carry out coordination with the EMEA Regional Office; if necessary, present special topics and propose the desired solution + Preparation and negotiation of offers within the scope of authorities + Prepare and partially carry out computer input and quality checks + Creation of individual coverage concepts for individual risks + Contract maintenance, renewal, preparation, execution, negotiation; + Market observation / competitive intelligence; identification of market developments and sales opportunities + Identification of new target groups and new insurance concepts + Product development + Preparation and execution of presentations for brokers / customers on specialist topics, individual insurance programs and AIG capabilities + Specialist supervision of broker connections/broker visits + Close cooperation with the Distribution team as well as sales offices in customer and broker support. If necessary, arranging joint appointments, providing information for initiations and contracts, as well as for problematic issues such as loss rejections or restructuring efforts + Broker relationship management, planning and implementation of customer appointments + Acquisition of new business + Portfolio management: anticipation of renewals, performance analyses, follow-up of KPIs (retention ratios, rates changes…), corrections where needed + Team Management: performance management, day-to-day organization, recruitment, individual development… + Close cooperation and supervision of all UWs in the Region in account management: Involvement in renewal preparations, enabling participation in customer meetings if necessary, preparing all necessary templates + Close coordination with Risk Control, review of the own portfolio and proposal of which customers should be the subject of RC, formulation of expectations of RC, participation in RC visits to customers, follow-up of any recommendations + Fulfill self-audits, OFAC audits, other reporting requirements + Close coordination with the claims department with regard to their own accounts, joint discussion of major claims, review of claims rejections, perception of broker/customer discussions on claims together with claims Requirements: + several years of professional experience as aviation underwriter also in connection with Aviation claims handling including industrial insurance, environment, international programs + Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, ability to work in a team, quick perception, initiative, good self-organization, readiness to work + Business management thinking + Ability to work profit-oriented, cost orientation + Communication skills, clear and precise expression. + Willingness to provide sales support and to travel on business + Leadership skills + Very good knowledge of German and English + Experienced handling of the MS Office package + Experience in people management appreciated #LI-KH1 Reimagining insurance to make a bigger difference to the world American International Group, Inc.
