CI Activities:Track and react to data for safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) to pursue gaps in MOS system.Create and sustain standard work.Training:Assess team members’ skills and identify training needs.Coach and develop skills of individual team members.Conduct training.Quality:Communicate quality requirements, goals, and performance.Audit to standard workSafety:Communicate safety requirements, goals, and performance.Perform safety audits.Identify and report EHS&S observations and incidents.Materials:Improve and expedite material movement through processes.Ensure compliance to procedures through accurate production reporting.Production:Monitor processes and key metrics to maintain controls.Identify and improve processes.Respond to and facilitate team members’ improvement suggestions.Monitor scrap and first pass yield data to reduce waste.PeopleLead daily huddles.Assess and develop team members’ skills.Recognize / celebrate the accomplishment of goals.Provide orientation of new team membersEducation, Experience, and Skills:
HS degree or HS equivalency diploma is recommended.Safe manufacturing operations to include Team Member safety.Knowledge of product quality (success rates), throughput delivery and cost control (minimizing downtime and waste, optimizing yield).Knowledge of 5SAbility to direct, coach, and train associates.Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work; good understanding of production scheduling and other variables such as run-rates, processing times, and change-over times.Ability to analyze and resolve problems.Proficient using Excel or other spreadsheet software or have the ability to learn.Good understanding of area of responsibility to lead employees and ensure function of the business is compliant and efficient. Acceptable disciplinary performance – Employees who have received a written warning (first or second) are not eligible for promotions or transfers for a minimum of six months after receiving that warning.Acceptable attendance performance - Employees who have six or more points are not eligible for promotions or transfers.A human performance evaluation or HPE is an evaluation of a person’s physical ability to do a job.
