Team Lead - Country Growth, Marketing & Sales

After a successful launch earlier this year, of Flixbus in its 43rd country, India, we are on the lookout for a motivated and driven Country Growth, Marketing & Sales Lead who will spearhead the locally led Marketing and Sales efforts for Flixbus for the India market.

You will report directly into the Managing Director and will lead the Flix India Marketing & Sales team – currently consisting of 3 employees with a strong growth ambition.  

This position will be based in Gurgaon. We have hybrid model (3 times per week in the office). Ideal start date: November/December.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green Marketing Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing efforts in India, overseeing budget planning, strategy, and execution of locally managed channels. Growth and Revenue Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to drive user acquisition, revenue growth, and topline performance for Flixbus India, using data-driven growth hacking techniques to maximize customer growth. Partnerships & Direct Marketing: You will lead the India Partnerships and Direct Marketing function where you will lead the development and implementation of partnership strategies to fuel the growth of Flixbus in India. You will also lead planning and execution of local activations. Locally Managed Channels: The following channels are managed locally, and you will be accountable for the goals linked to them:
Online and Offline Distribution: You will lead the Online and Offline distribution team. This will include managing online partners such as Redbus, as well as offline resellers across the country. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with HQ teams, including Commercial and Performance Marketing, to maximize impact and leverage global efficiencies. Own the Marketing Calendar for India, ensuring alignment with country strategy and stakeholder coordination. Brand & Customer Focus: Influence brand communications and creative asset development for India, while championing customer insights to enhance both digital and offline experiences. Social & Community: You will be responsible for leading the efforts on Social Media platforms. Together with the team and external partners, you will develop and implement a comprehensive Organic Social Media strategy to bolster Flixbus’ community engagement and brand awareness. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): You will be responsible for planning and steering CRM campaigns in India and coordinate with the HQ team on the CRM plan for India. This will be tied into the engagement strategies around Social & Community.  Your Profile – Ready to hop on board 7-10+ years of experience in leading B2C marketing initiatives in India, ideally within high-growth, digital-first businesses. 2+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to set direction, inspire cross-functional teams, and manage high-performing teams to achieve business goals. Proven ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment, with experience in building marketing functions and processes from the ground up. Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive audience growth and user engagement, with a deep understanding of commercial objectives. Strong analytical skills with a focus on leveraging data insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance. Proven ability to build, refine, and manage marketing processes that improve organizational efficiency and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritizing high-impact projects while delivering under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English.
