What this job involves:

The Team Lead Design will supervise a team of designers and oversee the creation of designs, concepts and layouts. The job of graphic designing requires special skills and abilities to create visual presentations or imagery with the aim of communicating a message to the target audience. Design lead responsibilities include a list of supervising and executing activities including creation of computer graphics, web page graphics, logos, illustrations, advertisements, brochures and many other forms of visual communication.

The candidate will work closely with the Marketing teams across globe to support different business/service lines. They must understand the strategy, audience and objectives behind complex design projects, provide appropriate solutions with minimal art direction and work with a variety of team contributors including marketers and various levels of management. Also responsible for the timely, cost-effective and high-quality delivery of design and digital projects and materials across regions, acting as traffic manager for work briefed into the team from across the global organization. Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.

Additionally, you will:

Manage projects and ensure producers manage projects to agreed scopes and timescales, including integrated projects where digital, print, events, media and social media components all require coordination and cohesion. Experience as an art director. Strong knowledge of photography, video production, Interactive PDFs and client pitch/proposal. Develop creative briefs based on ideas from brainstorming sessions, with direction, schedules, and deliverables for the creative team. Obtain team approval of final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations; encourage members to provide feedback; and respond to internal commentary and requests. Oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.Oversee project design and production, reporting any potential disputes, changing requirements or delays in a timely manner, and reviewing project performance. Create and maintain high-quality visual content for company brand in both digital and print communications, including, but not limited to brochures, flyers, infographics, social media, web graphics, logos, emailers, event materials, and posters.Must have a superior understanding of the fundamental concepts of print and web publishing and graphic design principles.Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field. The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into your design work.You have a team-oriented attitude and ability to contribute to design- and functionality- related marketing decisions. Strong work ethics: Takes initiative and can self-manage. Resourceful when approaching projects, can navigate through obstacles to bring projects to fruition, and can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ years of experience leading teams. Experience in traffic management, content delivery, or project management.Advance or Fluent English and communication level (including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing). Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, & multi-tasking skills. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Great command under pressure and stress. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Adaptability to new situations. Strong collaboration skills. Demonstrable ability to work proactively and autonomously and be accountable for own decisions. Ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others through written, drawn and verbal means. Ability to work confidently with internal stakeholders and external suppliers at all levels and with different personality types; influencing and negotiating skills. Positive, demonstrable people management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or art school certification with a significant equivalent experience is desirable. You have strong creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of business-to-business print and digital marketing collateral. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign (knowledge of interactivity would be an add on), Photoshop, and Illustrator along with a good knowledge of PowerPoint, and MS Word. Experience with Monday.com or a similar project management tool is preferable. Experience with SharePoint is preferable.
