Team Lead - FT - Peabody Pediatrics

SUMMARY

Under general supervision as a Team Lead, coordinates the daily support operations of a single clinical area or group. Primarily acts as a Medical Assistant and performs the full duties associated with this role. Is a resource for other support staff and may fill in for staff as needed to provide appropriate coverage of the department. Takes lead role in ensuring department workflow is of a high quality.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) is strongly preferred if the job is in a patient-facing clinical capacity. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE

Skills and experience typically acquired through 2-3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting facility. In depth knowledge of specialty’s area required.

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals required. Has sound judgment with the ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Has demonstrated leadership potential.
