Accounting & Reporting Manager - General

Your role and responsibilities

This role is contributing to the Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be responsible to lead a group or team focused on the complete, accurate and timely completion of accounting activities within team. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforming general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions •\tConducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies•\tPerforming accounting analysis and generate reports to support finance and business leaders thus facilitate decision making •\tPerforming month end book closing activities •\tEnsuring that the Group Reporting is performed on time and manage the stake holders•\tCo-ordinating with Internal and External Auditors Initiating the Quality improvement initiatives in the R2R area

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, CA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred.\tMinimum 10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries. Must have the experience in handling a team\tMust have experience in Record to Report (R2R).\tMust be flexible in working for any shift timings Working knowledge in MS office (SAP Knowledge is a must).\tGood communication skills.
