Aspirus Health in Eagle River, WI is seeking a Team Lead - Hospital Registration Representative to join our team!
The Team Lead - Hospital Registration Representative monitors day-to-day activities including pre-registration, insurance eligibility and verification, preauthorization and registration functions for consistency and accuracy. Assures that all reception staff greets, registers and directs patients in a professional manner. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining complete and accurate registration records.
HOURS: Full Time 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours Biweekly
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of office standards and procedures normally acquired through a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredAn Associate’s degree in business management or related field preferredTwo years of office experience, preferably in a medical facilityThree years of supervisory experience highly desiredComputer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills requiredKnowledge of medical terminology desiredKnowledge of insurance requirements such as copays, deductibles, preauthorization, etc.Ability to display professional competence while being personable and discreetPossess superior organizational skills, analytical abilities and proven written and oral communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, patients, employees and the publicEmployee Benefits
