**Advisor Experience Squad Mission** : Transform the Advisor Experience by building and scaling digital solutions that increase productivity and remove friction from the sales process
The Team Lead will own all aspects of the advisor (3rd Party and Equitable Advisor) and client experience of doing business with Equitable’s Individual Retirement products. Working closely with IR Distribution Teams, Marketing, Operations, IT and Digital, the Team Lead will redesign processes, leverage technology to reduce manual touches and improve advisor and client experiences. The Team Lead will own and optimize the web experience across clients and 3rd Party and Equitable Advisors, with the goal to: (i) Improve user experience; (ii) Enhance web capability; and (iii) Drive adoption – all to reduce reliance on sales and service teams. A critical function for the Team Lead will be to leverage data to derive insights and drive a data-driven decision making approach, but also to monitor and track impact in sales growth and service efficiencies. Other responsibilities in scope include working with/managing the relationship with annuity order entry vendors (iPipeline, Zinnia, etc.), industry technology (DTCC, DST), and other partners.
The Team Lead is a critical part of New Ways Of Working (NWOW) at Equitable, working closely with the Area Lead using an Agile methodology / NWOW principles. He or she will co-create the Squad vision and goals with the Squad, and will proactively guide the Squad towards these goals under a test-and-learn culture that entails MVP delivery, innovation, frequent engagement with customers, advisors, partners and stakeholders, and continuous iteration. This is a hybrid/flexible position out of either our Charlotte, NC or New York City office, with a blend of working in office and remotely.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
+ Co-creation of Squad vision and goals with the Squad, defining the Squad Mission and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
+ Setting a clear Roadmap to craft and execute on the overarching advisor and client experience strategy and communicate ‘the story’ to key stakeholders (e.g., third parties, EQH advisors) and the Squad
+ Responsible for the management and career development of the squad members, including compensation and performance decisions
+ End-to-end ownership of advisor and client experience across eApp platforms, websites and other digital tools
**Key Skills**
+ Proven knowledge and experience in current operational processes and technology ecosystem
+ Understanding and knowledge of annuity industry and competitor operational processes and ability to identify pain points and bottlenecks within our own processes
+ Practical understanding of data and its applications to enhance decision making and generate productivity and efficiencies
+ Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams from key stakeholders, sales, technology, operations and compliance
+ Experience in web/UX design and ability to create user journeys
+ Ability to create a vision for the experience of the future, while simultaneously break down into manageable chunks
+ Experience leading and managing others
+ Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders
+ Strong problem solving with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
**Agile experience for success**
+ Experience in managing the backlog, prioritizing value based on understanding the customers, tracking value
+ Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.)
The base salary range for this position is $155,000 - $165,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
+ 10 years of professional work experience within the financial services or insurance industry
+ 5 years experience delivering project from end-to-end, and demonstrated knowledge of operations
+ Exceptional collaborative problem solver with ability to gather, analyze and synthesize a significant amount of information, and turn it into a compelling vision
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Self-starter with ability to manage multiple competing priorities
+ Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching
+ Ability to drive the adaption of NWOW / Agile practices and conduct Ceremonies: daily huddle, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint demo
