Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a Team Lead - Patient Scheduling to join our team!

The Team Lead of Patient Scheduling monitors day-to-day activities including scheduling and referral functions for consistency and accuracy. Assures that all reception staff greets, registers, and directs patients in a professional manner. Assures that all scheduling and referral staff schedule patient appointments according to the established parameters in an efficient and accurate manner.

HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly, Varied Shifts

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of office standards and procedures normally acquired through a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredAn Associate’s degree in business management or related field preferredTwo years of office experience, preferably in a medical facilityThree years of supervisory experience highly desiredComputer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills requiredKnowledge of medical terminology desiredKnowledge of insurance requirements such as copays, deductibles, preauthorization, etc.Ability to display professional competence while being personable and discreetPossess superior organizational skills, analytical abilities, and proven written and oral communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, patients, employees, and the public
