Aspirus Kidney Care in Wausau, WI is seeking a TEAM LEAD- REGISTERED NURSE to join our Outpatient Dialysis team!
The Registered Nurse Team Lead (TL) understands and supports the philosophy and policies and procedures of Aspirus. The Registered Nurse Team Lead works collaboratively to produce, nurture and sustain a professional practice and healthy work environment that affords and enhances patient care experience, effectiveness, and efficiency through leadership to multidisciplinary teams, effective physician relationships and a shared vision and dedication to the future of Aspirus. The TL has accountability for the overall coordination of all the Registered Nurses and other healthcare providers within a specific department. In collaboration with the formal leadership is responsible for overseeing the functioning of the department which includes participation in direct patient care as well as ensuring appropriate resources to provide safe, high quality patient care.
HOURS: Full-time or 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours Biweekly, Shifts: Weekdays, Day Only
Experience/Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.Certification in the area of specialty is desired.
A minimum of four years’ experience as practicing RN of which two years have been in a charge nurse role or relevant experience.
Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
Current CPR certification. All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.(See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training, Policy #7087).
