Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and effective operations of the department with strict adherence to quality standards.Participate in daily operations of the kit production team, addressing and resolving any complaints or issues.Provide training for new personnel and follow up on training documentation.Attend study protocol meetings occasionally, educating staff on vital issues.Build and manage work schedules and holiday planning for the team.Assist in the global kit production, distribution, and order fulfillment, ensuring timely processing of supplies.Maintain high levels of support, service, reliability, and availability to external kit vendors and internal departments.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.Previous experience (2+ years) that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role.Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully implementing process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices.Strong motivator with outstanding attention to detail.Proficient digital literacy and outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.Effective negotiation, problem resolution, and critical thinking abilities.Excellent verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Frequent mobility required, including standing, twisting, squats, and bending.Ability to handle fluctuating temperatures and exposure to potentially infectious and hazardous substances.Regular rotation of work schedule, including early starts and late ends.Maintain confidentiality of client protocols and study data.

Additional Responsibilities

Report to the (Sr) Manager Site Services_Kitting Operations.Manage Kit Production staff and serve as the main point of contact for Kitting Operations management.Support the management of internal/external PPD Kit Production and kit vendor assignments at the order level.Supervise Kit Production staff performance and identify efficiencies in the production process.Occasionally support crafting back orders, order comments, express orders, modifying orders, and managing ship by dates.Coordinate review and action required on custom reports and manage the Kit Vendor/Materials Management.Support system training, courier system training, and kit production training.Attend weekly kitting vendor operational meetings and support kit production activities.Perform quality control checks, order fulfillment, shipping, labeling, and any activities related to kit production.Assist with loading and unloading activities and support resolution of Kit Vendor Quality Events.Support information sharing within the GSS department.
