Responsibilities

Lead shift start meetings and assign employees to appropriate work each day to address changing workloads Ensure safe work practices and reports safety incidents (near misses, incidents, recordables) Performs minor maintenance and troubleshooting Drive and consistently demonstrate 5S Operates equipment according to Safety and Quality guidelines with the expectation that the Team Leader will be fully trained and signed off at every operation within their area Provide technical assistance to operators as necessary Provide coaching and counseling to improve performance and support positive employee relations Background & Skills

Position Criteria

Repeatedly lifting up to 40 pounds Extensive walking, standing, bending, stooping Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking work environment and prioritize workload accordingly Must have the ability to interact positively with others within the department and across the organization Self-motivated and able to self-direct Ability to manage cultural change Employee Benefits
