Team Lead Statutory Reporting

Role & Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and reconcile US GAAP to statutory financials.
+ Prepare and reconcile statutory financials to filed tax return.
+ Seek input and sign off from Local finance, Audit and Tax.
+ Prepare data packs & reconciliation for local tax compliance
+ Support of TP / tax accounting/ tax compliance audits for tax and financial audits.
+ Oversee preparation of audit-ready project files.
+ Contribute to the development of SOPs/desktop procedures & keep them up to date.
+ Contribute to improvements of models, templates, automation tools, data mining tools.
+ Ensure tight connection of data used for tax/statutory accounting/ transfer pricing.
+ Manage priorities and timelines and adjust to shifting priorities. Develop relationships with the geozones.
+ Understands, reviews, implements and complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements as defined in the risk control matrix.
Required Skills:
+ Experience working in Statutory Accounting with the ability to clearly communicate information in an easy to understand manner.
+ Experience leading in a matrices environment.
+ Clear thinking / problem solving to successfully lead cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement and able to quickly grasp new ideas.
+ Experience with financial systems / applications and strong with MS office applications.
+ Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.
+ College degree with accounting as part of the courses taken.
+ Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities to improve processes.
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
+ Computer skills that include creating charts and graphs that can be used to explain or define presentations.
+ Change Management driver, ensuring the process is followed.
+ Customer Service focused.
Preferred Skills:
+ CPA or similar.
+ Good to have experience on Tax.
+ Previous international experience preferably gained in the region.
+ JDE / ERP or Hyperion experience.
+ Prior experience with an energy service company
Qualification:
+ 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in statutory audit, US GAAP, IFRS, Finance Shared Services Organization managing Statutory Accounting.
+ Qualification- CA (2-4 yrs), MBA finance (5+ yrs), CMA (5+ yrs)
