Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring a Full Time, Day Shift Team Leader, Echocardiography for the Noninvasive Lab!

Job Description:

Performs cardiac echocardiography of the heart and associated structures using routine and advanced technical skills.

Participate in the professional development of staff and students.

Assist Cardiology Director with daily operations, coordination of work, achievement of department goals and objectives.

Serve as technical resource for other department personnel.

Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma along with significant experience will be considered in lieu of education, in accordance with IAC Guidelines.

License/Certification: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) required.

Required Experience: 1 year of Echocardiography experience is required along wtih knowledge of Echocardiography equipment.
