Responsibilities:

Act in supervisory capacity by temporarily taking on the responsibilities of the shift supervisor in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.

Report any problems or suggestions for improvement to the shift supervisor to enhance team efficiency.

Maintain open communication with unit staff and other departments to identify specific needs for task completion.

Ensure all team members have clearly defined tasks and are working effectively in their assigned areas.

Monitor inventory levels to guarantee that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for team members, reporting shortages to the shift supervisor.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work areas are properly cleaned, maintained, and in good repair.

Follow all safety and sanitation regulations meticulously, promptly reporting any issues to the shift supervisor.

Ensure compliance with all Hospital and Department policies and procedures to maintain operational standards and promote a safe working environment.
