CDM Smith is now accepting applications for the position of Team Leader/ Project Manager for a donor-funded Water Resources Technical Assistance to the Lesotho’s Department of Water (DWA) under the Institutional Reform Activity which is part of the Market-Driven Irrigated Horticulture (MDIH). This position will be based in Maseru, Lesotho, with anticipated minor local travel within the country.

The ideal candidate will have water resources management experience, including experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and other emergent nations.

The Team Leader will lead contract implementation to achieve successful project outputs as stated in the Project Scope by adhering to Schedule, Budget, and Quality. This will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring adherence to the goals, deliverables, and objectives (e.g., scope, schedule, and budget) of the contract with the client.
- Leading the contract implementation, overall management and strategic direction of CDM Smith project team
- Ensuring that the team is following the strategic direction and framework of the project
- Ensuring quality delivery of all technical inputs, including regular reporting to the client and CDM Smith and ensuring good quality and timely submission of all reports, and other deliverables.
- Participate in production of quarterly and annual work plans and payment schedules
- Main point of contact with the client and routinely interacting with other projects, government representatives and development partners.
- Work closely with the client on activities of coaching, mentoring, implementing, and undertaking Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of capacity development, and branding and socialization campaign.
- Abiding by CDM Smith’s quality management program (QMP) and anti-corruption policy (ACP)
