Location/Division Specific Information

The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use. They allow them to make decisions where they operate and streamline their businesses. CAD is a complex division with a global footprint, broad product portfolio and diverse customer base.

We are offering an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to join our top-notch team as a Logistics Team Leader. In this role, you will lead and encourage the shipping, final kitting, and document control teams to achieve flawless execution in a manufacturing environment. Your leadership will be key to ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating the daily operations of the Shipping, Receiving, and Document Control teams to ensure they meet operational targets.

Developing and implementing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement process improvements.

Ensuring strict compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Supervising team performance and providing continuous feedback and development to team members.

Troubleshooting and resolving logistics-related issues promptly.

Leading by example to develop an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Associates or Bachelor degree in relevant field.

Experience

Required: 5+ years of general warehouse experience.

Required: +1 years of experience leading people leadership.

Preferred: Experience transacting in material requirement planning (MRP) systems, Smartsheet, and Salesforce. Additionally, experience with computers and scanning equipment.

Preferred: Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) and controlled substances.

Preferred: Experience with international shipping FedEx manager, UPS worldwide.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and develop a team.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Must possess strong written and interpersonal skills to clearly share information with employees, communicate well with internal customers and other internal departments of the Distribution organization.

A proactive and bold approach with a track record of successfully completing process improvements.

Developed analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate, interpret information and procedures, understand, and act on to resolve issues as they arise.

Proficiency in logistics software and systems.

Integrity to do the right thing, even when no one's watching.

Ability to read and write in English.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Traditional warehouse setting with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements including but not limited to: safety glasses protection, close toed footwear, and steel toed boots for relevant roles.

This role involves standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching for significant periods.

Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
